Have you ever met a stranger who looks a lot like you? It’s weird, right? Now imagine what it would feel like if you met someone who looked exactlylike you. Let’s take it one step further and say that this person not only bears your mirror image, but they smile, laugh, and have the same mannerisms as you do, as well — like these two adorable twin brothers who even know how to make each other laugh. This is what happened to Anaïs Bordier, a 25-year-old woman in France who saw a YouTube video featuring an actress named Samantha Futerman that looked just like her. She looked up Samantha’s information online and made some stunning discoveries. She found out that they were both born on the same day in the same city and were both adopted. Anaïs reached out to Samantha through Facebook, and when Samantha received the message she was in complete shock. Samantha saw her face reflected in Anaïs’ Facebook profile picture. She then began to look at Anaïs’ childhood pictures posted online and compared them to her own. The similarities were remarkable…
“It was like looking into a mirror,” said Samantha.
“It was a magical moment I will never forget.”
The two decided to Skype one another.
“Do you think we’re identical twins?” Samantha asked Anaïs. She agreed.
“Seeing Sam for the first time in person put me into shock,” said Anaïs of her American twin. “I had no idea I was that short.”
The twins didn’t know it, but their lives were about to take a surreal turn.
