Little Boy Says Day Care Worker Is Acting Strange, So Her Husband Installs Camera To See Proof

Every parent wants to feel that they’ve made a good choice in selecting who watches their child, whether it’s a nanny taking care of a newborn or a babysitter watching a 10-year-old.

Some moms and dads conduct rigorous interviews and do thorough background checks to make sure the selected person is the best possible choice. But unfortunately, not everyone is whom they promote themselves to be, and some are extremely good at lying about it — something these parents, who hired a nanny that ended up being an absolute nightmare, learned the hard way.

In the video below, posted on April 4, 2016, we see another scenario unfold that is hard to believe. Child protective investigator Desiree LaBlanc of Des Moines, IA, was trying to find a good day care to watch her baby daughter. During her search, a family friend recommended 28-year-old Christina Williamson, who owned a day care in the area.

LaBlanc felt good about Williamson, so she decided to trust her with watching her infant during the day. Christina continued to impress LaBlanc — constantly sending over photos of her daughter and letting them know when the smallest scratch appeared. That’s why this mom never expected what was about to happen next.

One day at work, LaBlanc received a call from her supervisor, saying that she needed to pick up her daughter from Williamson. LaBlanc did as she was told, and soon after, she found out some disturbing news: Her baby was being physically abused by the day care worker.

Before LaBlanc found out this news, Williamson’s husband got word that his wife was showing unusual behavior toward the kids and he decided to set up a camera in their home. He was absolutely appalled at what the footage showed: throwing the kids, putting clothes in their mouths, and sometimes leaving them in the house alone.

He immediately turned the footage in to the police, and Williamson was eventually sentenced to five years in prison. All the kids ended up being fine as well, but this should serve as a reminder to be extremely cautious when choosing who should watch your children.

Are you relieved that all the children ended up being alright and that justice was served? Let us know in the comments below, and please SHARE this with friends and family on Facebook to spread awareness!
