Kim Jong Un Swore to Shoot the Next Plane He Saw, So Trump Issued Order to Entire Bomber Wing

President Donald Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un have been locked in a war of words for months, with each side upping the rhetoric on almost a weekly basis.

In late September, the North Korean regime threatened to shoot down American planes that flew near its territory. On Tuesday night, a group of American planes flew off the Korean peninsula, the U.K. Daily Mail reported.

Two United States B-1 supersonic bombers flew with South Korean and Japanese aircraft in a clear show of force directed at the North Korean regime.

Also on Tuesday, Trump received a briefing on military options available to him from Secretary of Defense James Mattis and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph Dunford.

“(The briefing) focused on a range of options to respond to any form of North Korean aggression or, if necessary, to prevent North Korea from threatening the United States and its allies with nuclear weapons,” the two men stated.

The planes conducted a simulation of an air-to-ground missile attack in the waters off the east coast of the Korean peninsula, then flew over South Korea and did the same thing on the west side.

Clearly Trump and his generals aren’t going to let North Korea’s threats dictate what America will or will not do. This flight sent a powerful message to the North Korean regime that we aren’t afraid of its empty threats.

Reuters noted that the B-1 bombers took off from Andersen Air Force Base in Guam — a place that Kim has threatened to fire missiles if things should escalate further.

Trump heard North Korea’s threats to shoot down our aircraft, and he called their bluff in a very public way. North Korea can talk all they want, but at the end of the day actions mean a lot more than posturing words.

Maybe next time, North Korea should think before they speak. They aren’t dealing with President Barack Obama anymore. They are dealing with a man who won’t hesitate to stand up to tyrants and thugs who threaten our great nation.
