Manta ray diver Keller Laros cuts free a dolphin that had become tangled in fishing wire off the west coast of Hawaii.
While at Eel Cove in Kailua-Kona Hawaii the divers were observing manta rays feeding on plankton when a bottlenose dolphin swam by and turned his body so that the divers could see that he’d become tangled in fishing wire.
Signaling the dolphin to him, the brilliant creature cooperates, seeming to understand that Keller is helping.
