Mid 2004, Ben was diagnosed with aggressive stage 3 cancer. During his entire hospital stay, Denali never left his side. He even refused to leave his hospital room. Ben went through countless surgeries, treatments, and appointments with Denali by his side. The dog played a huge part of Ben’s recovery.
