A public speech has taken place in one of the main cathedrals in Moscow, and Patriarch Kirill talked about signs being apparent in the Book of Revelation. He has asked citizens and politicians to unite and put an end to the movement towards the abyss.
PATRIARCH SAID THAT ALL PEOPLE OF RUSSIA SHOULD COME TOGETHER
The Patriarch said that all of the people who love Russia have to come together as we are going into a period of time that is critical in the course of human civilization. He went on to say that it could be seen with the naked eye and people would have to be blind if they did not see the awe-inspiring moments that were approaching in history that the apostle John talked about in the Book of Revelation.

He added that the exact time of the end of days would depend on the actions of everyone. He asked the people to begin to understand the responsibility they had toward Russia and mankind and to put an end to the movement towards the end of the abyss.
PATRIARCH SAYS REPRESENTATIVE OF RUSSIA ARE MAKING SAME MISTAKES AS PREDECESSOR
The Patriarch emphasized the representatives of modern Russia and said that they were repeating the same mistakes that predecessors had made, and that those predecessors had led the country to revolutionary events of the early 20th century. He went on to say that today is not the time to be rocking the boat of the passions of humans as there is a too much negative influence on the spiritual lives of people already.
Patriarch Kirill from Moscow was 71 on Monday, and he held a mass in the Christ the Savior Cathedral in Moscow. After that, he presented the heads of the Orthodox Church in Russia with a copy of a headwear used in ceremonies that had been worn by Patriarch Tikhon, who had been elected 100 years ago to be head of the Church.
