– 2 lemons
– 1 middle sized ginger root
– about 500 gr of honey
Wash the lemon and cut it in pieces. Peel the ginger and cut it in slices. Put it in a clean glass jar of 1 l. Pour it with honey but not up to the end of the jar. Leave it to rest for one day (the lemon and the ginger will release their juices).
Close the jar and leave it in a fridge for a period of 1-2 months. When the mixture becomes gelatinous dilute it with a little bit of warm boiled water (if you wish).
Your remedy is prepared.
If you prepare it now – you’ll be ready for the beginning of the season of colds.
The daily dosage for adults is 2 tablespoons a day and for children it’s 1-2 teaspoons a day.
