A Parallel Universe Where Time Runs Backwards Has Been Detected By NASA Scientists

NASA has conducted an experiment in Antarctica, which has revealed new evidence that a parallel universe exists, except the rules of physics, are the opposite of ours.

Physicists have been debating among one another since 1952 of the possibility of a multiverse, whereby many universes exist parallel to ours. These universes could have different laws of physics, or even be similar to ours – just with different timelines.

The original theory was proposed by Quantum science pioneer Erwin Schrodinger, and even he admitted that he might have seemed a little crazy when he hosted that lecture. But now a new discovery has pushed scientists to reconsider if his theory is really as far-fetched as they thought it was. A cosmic ray detection experiment in Antarctica found a particle that very well may be from another universe.

The experiment

NASA’s experiment consisted of using their Antarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna (ANITA). This device is a giant balloon that takes delicate electronic antennas high into the air above Antarctica. The cold, dry air up here, means that there is little to no radio noise to impact any readings. From space there is a constant transmission, also known as wind, of high energy particles that we can detect with the right tools. Some of these winds are a million times more powerful than anything we can produce.

The Antarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna (ANITA) experiment has been designed to study ultra-high-energy (UHE) cosmic neutrinos by detecting the radio pulses emitted by their interactions with the Antarctic ice sheet. This is to be accomplished using an array of radio antennas suspended from a helium balloon flying at a height of about 37,000 meters. en.wikipedia.org

These low energy particles, also known as neutrinos, can pass completely through the earth’s matter and barely interact with our planet at all. But there are also high energy particles that are stopped by the solid matter of our planet. Any high energy particles that come into contact with Earth, can only be detected on their way into our planet. If we were to detect one of these heavy, high energy particles coming up, from within our planet, that would mean that particle has to be travelling back in time. It is exactly this, that the ANITA managed to discover.

But how?

The principle investigator at ANITA, Peter Gorham, has given a sort of explanation. He suggests that the only way this could happen is if the particle changed into a different type of particle before passing through the Earth, and then back again. This is a one in a billion chance. But the ANITA team has seen several of these so-called impossible events. So how is this possible with those minuscule chances? There is another, far more simple and elegant explanation. At the moment of the big bang, two universes were formed. Ours and another one. In this alternate universe, time is flowing backwards, from the unlimited expansion of space back towards the big bang. In this universe, the universe would be compacting rapidly, rather than expanding rapidly like ours.
