24 Ways to Get Rid of Inflammation and Joint Pain

Inflammation is the number one cause of both acute and chronic pain. Understanding what inflammation really is is the key to reducing it, and therefore maximizing your health.

There are two types of inflammation: Primary and Secondary. understand these types of inflammation is the first step in treating inflammation. Primary inflammation our body’s natural process of removing toxins and rebuilding cells. Primary inflammation occurs every day, and is not associated with pain, it’s just your body working to repair itself. When primary inflammation isn’t doing it’s job, that is when secondary inflammation kicks in. This is the pain and swelling commonly associated with inflammation. Pain is your body’s way of telling you that something is wrong, and needs to be attended to. Secondary inflammation is also an indicator that your body’s primary inflammation is not able to keep up. So to avoid secondary inflammation, you need to increase your body’s primary inflammation abilities, so that your body is efficiently rebuilding and detoxing.

Here are some simple things you can do to increase your bodies ability to detox and rebuild to avoid the pain associated with secondary inflammation:

Sleep is critical for good health across the board. When we sleep our bodies rebuild and repaid themselves, so without enough time to do that, secondary inflammation begin to run rampant.

2. Omega-3 Fatty Acids
Omega-3 fatty acids assist in primary inflammation functions, and make our bodies much more efficient. Omega-3 supplements are readily available and easy to find. Adding them to your daily diet regimen is as easy as taking a pill.

ACV is a well-known anti-inflammatory that increases immune function. The immune system is key in primary inflammation, so supporting it supports your overall health.
